Grand Exchange Mural Design

The Grand Exchange Community Center contacted the Art Bomb Brigade in Akron, OH to help them redesign the exterior of their building. The owners wanted a space that showed life, growth, whimsy, and community in a way that made everyone feel welcome. After several design briefs, they settled on the concept and layout I created for the project. This mural shows the importance of growth and childhood creativity that we should never fail to lose track of. The geometric design is inspired by the ceiling textiles on the interior of the building and contrasts nicely with the organic shapes of the flora and fauna surrounding the rest of the mural.
